  • Amazing Support for the NSPCC

    Wed 29 Nov 2017

We welcomed Emma and Buddy from the NSPCC to school to talk to the children about the NSPCC Speak Out, Stay Safe Programme.  Emma delivered a child-friendly, interactive assembly about how the children can keep themselves safe from harm and how to get help if they have any worries.

We chose to support the NSPCC's work through a sponsored dance at school.  Emma was overwhelmed by the generosity of our friends and families and in total we have raised £2974.90.  On behalf of the NSPCC, we would like to say a very big THANK YOU.

  • Year 2 Cooking at Harrow Way Community School

    Wed 29 Nov 2017

Last week eighteen of our Year 2 children visited Harrow Way Community School to bake cookies in their fabulous cookery room.  The teachers were very impressed with the children and said 'They were lovely children who were impeccably behaved, they even did the washing up to a high standard!!'  We always welcome opportunities for our children to take their learning outside the classroom and to enjoy new experiences.  Thank you to Harrow Way  for welcoming us so warmly and to all of the Harrow Way teachers who popped into the cookery room to say 'hello'.
