Whilst the summer holidays provide families with the opportunity to recharge and spend quality time together, we know it can also present it's challenges too without the daily routine, trying to keep the children entertained and, for many, stretching funds and childcare. The recent 'Surviving Summer' event at the Lights was very well received with over 100 local families dropping in to find out how to keep the kids busy, where to access support and top tips on managing behaviour at home. 

Below we have uploaded resources, contact information and details of local activities and support services who attended the event which we feel may be useful over the holidays. We hope this goes some way to continue supporting our families whilst school is closed.
